★ Questions
Are OC's Allowed?
Yes, they are allowed. Canon OC's are also allowed so long as they have never had any interaction with any main characters of the canon. This is because it could be awkward for anyone who might bring said characters in. If they say it's okay for them to remember, then it's fine, but only under that condition.
What about Game Transplants?
They are also allowed.
Are Non Humanoids allowed?
Of course they are, there will be no need to change them. Size is also perfectly okay, but of course that will mean they might not be able to go into certain buildings and such in the future.
Are powers allowed? If so, do they need to be nerfed for a fair playing field?
Yes, any and all powers are allowed here, however there are certain powers like time travel that will need to be talked about with a mod. The reason being it could be possible to use them for a future plot. Other abilities like being able to see the future will be another one would need to speak to a mod about.
Is death a factor, and if so how it works?
Death can happen here, however like many other games they can come back. However unlike other games there is a limit to the number of times a person can die before it is permanent.
Whoever dies is brought back either by Lucian or Kiara right now, the choice of who is up to you. How they do it is unknown as well at least for the moment. If you are brought back then they will ask you to work for them as a price. Basically if you die you have to work for one side or the other. If you end up working for the Light anything you do will always end up having a positive affect. If you end up working for the Dark side then anything you do will end up negative.
How does the light/dark mechanic works?
It's quite complicated to explain, but the basic is that whenever your character does something good, like for example help a kid cross a busy street something positive will happen. If you do something bad, like step in a bug because you don't like bugs and something negative will happen. As to what positive or negative will happen can be chosen by you, but if you cannot decide, you can post onto the post I will set up and we will choose.
How will players will affect the game?
As mentioned above, things can be affected by player actions. Since the world will be starting off as mostly wasteland, it would be up to the characters to rebuild, do good or bad deeds and tilt who wins the fight like that. It will even expand toward other character worlds that have been dragged in thanks to this battle.
So do a certain number of good deeds and a world will come back for example.
Do we have activity check?
We do. However the activity is simply a check every couple of months. It should be noted that if you keep checking in and don't do anything with the characters it will be noted and you will be warned. Check in again and you still haven't done anything will be an automatic drop of that character.
How many characters can one play here?
At the moment I will put it at 8 characters. This can go up to 10 if you reply to activity check for one month and show double activity for all characters. Basically while it's a check in your character needs to have there tag in at least one post every two months. In order to be able to play more than 8 characters, you'll need to have them tagged into two things in the two months. You won't need to link, I will check if you ask in the Activity Check.
What can people arrive with?
People arrive with what they had on them at the time. As time goes by however there might be way to gets things back depending on which side you are on aka if you do enough good or bad things.
So how does picking a side work?
While everyone who arrives is technically classed as neutral at the beginning, there is a chance to pick a side of Light or Dark. To do that you need to state to either Lucian or Kiara that you want to help them. That is all there is to it. Once you do that you are stuck in that side unless events and such switch you from choosing one side to the other.
Choosing either side or neutral has it's advantages and disadvantages as well when it comes to benefits.
What are the benefits?
The benefits of being on one side or the other is simple. If you do enough good or evil you can gain something back. Be it an item you long for, a world you want restored. Only thing you can't ask for are other playable characters. However there are exceptions to this such as characters who either no one would ever play or don't have much in terms of personality.
Another benefit is when and if you ever die you would be brought back. However this means a huge disadvantage to those who stay neutral. If someone who is neutral dies they cannot be brought back right now. They would be considered permanently dead.
However there is one advantage of being such a way. You'll be able to explore more without interference because after a while people figure that well you aren't interested so will geneually leave you alone after around two months.
